Drawing Together - Scottish Country Dancing Instruction VideoDance Information
This dance was devised for Keith and Helen Rose to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The title alludes to their collaboration in creating numerous diagrams (~6000, April 2024) of Scottish Country Dances: Keith sketches them, then Helen verifies them.
The dance starts with tying the knot and ends with half reels of three and a circle for the digits 5 and 0 respectively. In between 1st couple have time to gaze at each other and follow some beautiful Bézier curving paths. If they prefer, 1st couple can give both hands in bars 11-12 and 17-18.
