2s and 4s start on opposite sides

1- 8 1L also 4L cast behind their own lines to other end and cross into each other's place while other 6 dancers set diagonally to each other and change places RH, 2M also 3M cast behind their own lines to other end and cross into each other's place while other 6 dancers set diagonally to each other and change places RH. 3(4)1(2)
9-16 All circle 8H round and back
17-24 3L followed by 4M+1L+2M cast to other end of set while 2L followed 1M+4L+3M cast to other end (2)1(4)3, 2s+1s also 4s+3s circle 4H to left
25-32 2s+1s also 4s+3s dance RH across for 3 bars, LH back and end couples (2s and 3s) cast in 1 place while 1s and 4s cross to end places
33-40 1s+2s also 3s+4s turn on sides nearer hand (centre couple between outer couples), 1s+2s also 3+4s dance ½ double Fig of 8 (1s and 4s casting to start)
41-48 All dance interlocking Allemandes:
 1s and 2s dance normal Allemande but end in 3rd/1st places while 3s+4s Allemande (down) up to 4th/2nd places. 2(4)1(3)
