Scottish Country Dance Instruction

Ricki Robb's Reel (R4x32) 4C set Lewis N Derrick 2005
2 CHORDS The 3rd and 4th couples cross over on the second chord

1- 4 The 1st and 4th couples dance a Petronella turn into the middle and set to partners
5- 8 The 1st and 4th couples dance a Petronella turn into opposite sidelines and all four couples set, the 1st and 3rd couples turning to face down the 2nd and 4th couples to face up
9-10 Taking both hands with the person facing, all slip to opposite sidelines the 2nd and 1st men and 4th and 3rd men passing back to back
11-12 All set moving slightly down on the women's sideline and up on the men's sideline
13-14 All slip back to original sidelines the 2nd and 1st women and 4th and 3rd women passing back to back
15-16 Dropping inside hands, all set back into sidelines
17-24 Eight hands round and back
25-28 Giving right hands, the 1st and 4th couples cross over and cast down and up one place, respectively, the 2nd and 3rd couples step up and down, respectively, on bars 27-28
29-32 The 1st and 4th couples dance half rights and lefts to end in order 2413 with the 1st and 3rd couples on opposite sides

Repeat three more times from new positions each time
