Dance Information

According to the deviser's notes, her first name is pronounced "Tina". Her mother was Norwegian.

Tine MacKay has held the Full Teaching Certificate of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society since 2004. As principal instructor for The Harrisburg Scottish Country Dance Society, she has taught Scottish country dance classes and workshops in North America and Europe, and has also taught at Midwest Scottish Weekend events in the United States.

Tine E MacKay also devised A Capital Jig, a dance published by the RSCDS in 2009. In a 2022 survey of Scottish country dancers, it ranked among the thirty most popular Scottish country dances.
