Scottish Country Dance Instruction
Walking With Inna (R8x40) 40 bar Reel for 3 couples in a 4 couple longwise set, Devised By Keith Rose (2024)1-8 1c set, cast off one place, gypsy turn to finish with 1st woman facing down towards 3rd man with her partner in tandem behind her.
9-12 1st couple dance half an alternating reel of three across the dance with 3rd couple, beginning by passing 3rd man by the right, changing lead after two bars and finishing in tandem facing 2nd woman with 1st man leading.
13-16 1st couple dance half an alternating reel of three across the dance with 2nd couple, beginning by passing 2nd woman by the right, changing lead after two bars and finishing in promenade hold, 1st woman on her partners right, facing 3rd woman.
17-20 1st couple dance half a promenade reel of three across the dance with 3rd couple beginning by passing 3rd woman by the right and finishing 2nd man.
21-24 1st couple dance half a promenade reel of three across the dance with 2nd couple beginning by passing 2nd man by the right and finish in the middle of the dance in 2nd place.
On bar 24, 2nd and 3rd couples advance into the centre and take promenade hold.
25-32 2nd, 1st and 3rd couples dance an Allemande.
33-36 3rd, 1st and 2nd couples chase halfway round clockwise.
37-40 2nd, 1st and 3rd couples turn with the right hand 1½ times, or birl, to own side. Finish in the order 2, 1, 3.
1st couple repeat the dance having passed another couple.
