Dance Information

This reel, The Musician And The Pilot's Wedding, was written to celebrate the wedding of Ken Martlew (the musician) and Petula Allen (the pilot) on 3 September 2016.

The first 8 bars represent them dancing in the same area but without knowing each other.
The second 8 bars depict their meeting and dancing together.
The next 12 bars see them meeting each other's family and friends.
In the final 4 bars, the turn or birl expresses the couple's joy of marriage and dancing together.
