The following Figures require 16 bars of music; this is a relatively unusual Time allocation and so, even where it is the standard, some comment is included.Axum reel:

this Timing is rather sedate, especially in a Strathspey, but does allow more elegant movements. In the last 16 bars of The Eightsome Reel, the more spirited are tempted to complete the Grand chain early and so create Time for a Birl before the final chord.
